Who are we?

We can make whatever we want to with our lives. Two people with exactly the same set of circumstances may end up very differently in their lives. Why does this difference occurs?

It’s usually because of their perception of the situation and how they react to it. Often in life we react to situations violently. This is where the 90/10 rule come into picture.

ree

In life only 10% things happen to us without our control but the rest 90% is just our reaction to it, which further shapes up our lives.

  • If you come to think of it, a specific experience is just a stimulation of our senses on different levels for various individuals at various levels.

  • The same music might be loved by one set of people but completely hated by some other set of people

  • The goal here then is to organise our mind and body in such a way that they become a tool for us, rather than we living by the compulsions of sex, food, destructive thinking etc.

Some Science

  • To look at it objectively it’s not your core of the being that’s reacting, but your mind which picks up its garbage from the society around.

  • You only project what you have learned from your immediate surroundings.

  • The goal here is then to educate your mind to a multitude of perspectives, so that you can pick up and choose how to respond consciously to a situation instead of reacting violently to every little thing that comes up our way.

  • This would open up our mind for more higher pursuits in life.

Why does it even matter?

Controlling your mind and body in times of such rapid change becomes a major superpower. I’ll like you to leave with this small list of quotes which I usually refer to daily before starting my day

  • There is no limit to your youthful spirit.

  • The only blocker which we usually have in life is our inability to learn deeply about our own selves.

  • Instead of making your days into a noble pursuit of blossoming up your individual potential, you waste it on seeking validation from the outside world.

  • Life can be a beautiful string of pearls, each day can be as precious as a diamond, but the only question is are you willing to turn the coal which each day offers into a diamond.
